.22 Target Surplus
NOTE: All .22 caliber rifles listed in the table below are used, exhibit normal to significant wear and tear and are sold without slings, magazines, sights, swivels, or other components.
NOTE: All sales are final. No exchanges or refunds.
NOTE: The table below lists all the .22 caliber rifles / .22 caliber receivers that are currently in CMP inventory. As the options sell out, the items will be deleted from the table. We have no reason to believe we will ever again have .22 caliber rifles in enough quantities to offer them for mail order, but only for auction and in-store sales.
IMPORTANT: If your State or locality requires you to first obtain a license, permit, or Firearms Owner ID card in order to possess or receive a rifle, you must enclose a photocopy of your license, permit, or card with the application for purchase. Rifle shipments to NY, NJ and CT must be made to a state licensed dealer. You must provide a copy of the dealer’s license with your order form.
NY, NJ and CT customers who have already mailed their rifle orders to CMP should provide custserve@thecmp.org with dealer information or order cancellation instructions. Information can also be faxed to 256-835-3527 or mailed to CMP Customer Service, (Attn: FFL Order), 1401 Commerce Blvd., Anniston, AL 36207.

Kimber Model 82 .22 LR

These rifles were produced for the U.S. Army between 1987 and 1990. Although these are still in the original manufacturer’s packaging and have never been used, many of the stock, barrels and receivers may have light scratches or razor cuts from when the protective bags were opened to conduct serial number inventory in the mid-90’s. This is a minor cosmetic deficiency that detracts slightly from the appearance, but does not affect the functioning of the rifle. This single shot .22 LR has an overall weight of 10.75 lbs., a length of 43 inches, an adjustable trigger, three butt plate spacers and a hand stop assembly. Rifle is complete with a Kimber rear aperture sight, a front sight with ten inserts and the original technical manual. These rifles are shipped as received by the CMP.
Shipping and Handling $24.95 per rifle.
