Now that I like much better than just an ordinary 10/22 with Tech Sights. Does the 10/22 receiver actually fit on a Garand stock, or did you have to modify it (aside from what you've done to the bottom to accommodate the magazine)?

This is not done like the one in Shotgun News, it uses a 10/22 barrel. I used an old cracked stock and routed it out to fit the receiver. I'll post a how to tonight when I have more time. Thanks
